Some Inspiration for the design of the wall
Since I was going with a shoe theme for my hallway wall...might as well look at some artwork from Jordan brand. Not sure if I would do it that crazy and filled, but something along those lines.

Placing and Acetone Transfer
Initially, I was a little worried about putting up the whole xeroxes together. But they held up and went on the wall with not too much of a problem (which was very surprising).
Then going ahead with the acetone transfer, as you can see from the picture didn't come out darker than I wanted. Well at least I have the guidelines to go over with either paint or I was think of using a black marker.

Got the Xerox Images ready
First: Enlarge Image on Photoshop (trace on Illustrator to beef up the lines) Created a grid system to print on inkjet printer, so that they overlap each other.
Second: Go to printshop to xerox all the images, cause Acetone doesn't work well with inkjet printed images.
Third: Tediously put back together the image to be placed on the wall...

Cheap Wall Art
I will keep track of some artwork projects I've been planning and working on...and testing it on my apartment. Will try to use the cheapest way possible to reproduce or to create the artwork...as in the case of the Nike Dunk artwork i'm working on right now.
I already vectorized the image and blew it up so that it will be a super graphic on my hallway. Its about four feet high and ten feet long. The trick is how to transfer the image to the wall w/o costing me too much or using an expensive process. Right now I've decided to try to cut up the image into 8x11s and put them back together onto the wall (maybe transferring it with some acetone?). We'll see how it goes...its such a big image, that some imperfections wouldn't affect it too much.
