First Step: Build a mockup
Initially I was thinking about building a mockup out of modeling clay but I think just for proportions and seeing the actual size of the model; I'm going to build it out of cardboard.
Here are the main bones of the model

Bam!! Now on to making Children's Toys

I know I may have my mind all over the place, but I have good idea for a children's toy I need to pursue. I think its worth the time and effort to put in and it has something to do with Architecture. This was my first day of researching and laying down the foundation for my product...will update and record my journey.

Thinking Ahead: Red String Artwork

While I'm waiting for some airbrush tools to finish up my Hallway artwork...Decided to think ahead and get some ideas out there about my next project: some string artwork in my living room. Wanted to create a good contrast against the dark blue background wall with some red string.
Looking more into using geometric shapes, a more abstract design which I would think would look nice.

Considering Web design. Not too sure how that would turn out but it might be cool.

Another thought; could do the golden gate in string, which in theory would be cool but might look a little too hokey.

Progress on my Hallway Wall Quote:
Now next step is to either air brush or paint by hand...I'll try airbrush first to see how it goes.
Then the step after is to reuse the stencil for the second half of the quote, which is why I chose the quote because of the similar letters (and being motivating).
Wouldn't mind making my own Yeah Yeah Yeahs t-shirt...saw this on the drum...thought it would look cool on a t-shirt

New Hobby Project I'm working on...

With all this World Series going on, haven't been able to get much done. Thought I would work on my hallway some more with some more artwork. Previously did a outline of a Nike Dunk, which came out pretty good, and was trying to figure out how to compliment it. Kinda hard to fit another image right next to it so I decided that I would put up a quote instead. (inspiration below)
I got one of those inspirational quotes to tell me to live my life to the fullest...also I thought it would fit well with the shoe image.(here are some images of my mock up and stencils I'm setting up)
